The story so far...

It's been quite the journey for Kindred Found. Starting off way back in Covid times, Dave Eastman decided to head on over to Dan Smith's flat during the first lift in lockdown with some lyrics and proceeded to sing what would very quickly become Bones!

That track would indeed end up becoming the title track for their first EP, along with two other collaborative efforts “Muse” and “Devil's on the Highway” and released in the heady summer of 2023.

Following that, they decided to bring in a dedicated rhythm section of Tom Daly on electric bass and Andy Brining on drums and released “Should'a” featuring Rosie Sales on guest vocals in January '24 which then went on to become a prominent part of their promo when approached to play the Kashmir Cafe later that year at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Now with Mark Line drafted in to provide harmonica, mandolin and eventually banjo, they then went on to release “One Night in Nashville” during the summer of that same year before, in a chance meeting at a showcase gig where they appeared on the same bill, Dan and Dave met Corrine Atkins, who they invited to support the band at their first headline appearance at Strings Bar and Venue. They all got on so well that it was inevitable that Corrine would then go on and join the band, giving an extra guitar to the mix and some fantastic co-lead vocals.

The band in this format would then to on to release "Drowning" and "Addicted to You" in 2025, both reaching number 1 on the South Coast Music Chart and playing a host of festivals on the Isle of Wight throughout the year before eventually, Andy decided to step back and focus on other commitments, leading the band to invite Pete Ball to take the drum throne.

Establishing a successful sequence of nights at the popular Coburgs night club with their own brand of country hoedown, further success would come for the band in January of 2026 when they were announced as Radio Wigwam's best blues and classic rock artist of the year!

With a packed schedule of gigs and festivals to come in 2026 and a full length debut album to be released, the future looks very bright for Kindred Found, we hope you stay around for the ride.
