Meet the band!

Dave Eastman: Lead vocal, acoustic guitar

Here's Dave! He's our principal lyricist, front man, professional ale taster and guitar strummer. He only picked up the guitar about 10 years back, joining Dan down at the First Floor open mics in Newport where they built up a strong friendship.

He spends a lot of time listening to would Kip Moore, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Whiskey Myers, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. But it gets more diverse with acts such as Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi and Dean Martin as well. But nothing can quite beat playing our own material and right now he can't quite get enough of Gators and Sad Old Country Boy!

Away from the band he's a keen archer and writes sci fi/ fantasy novels (some of them are published!) and enjoys chilling with his kids playing video games.

Dan Smith: Lead guitars, vocals

Here's Dan! He's the flashy coat wearing, paisley shirted lead guitarist! He originally started out on bass, picking it up some 22 years ago before gradually being tempted by the 6 strings over time, originally just practicing some slide skills before starting to take it seriously at about 24 years of age!

Some of his biggest influences are Ryan Adams, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Allman Brothers Band (a massive fan of both Derek Trucks and. Duane Allman), Jason Isbell, Derek and the Dominos, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden and The Beatles.

If really pressed to pick a favourite song, he reckons right now it's Dreams by the Allman Brothers Band (that solo is amazing!) but when it comes to the band, he can't get enough of the energy and interplay on show during Gators Down in New Orleans.

Away from the band, Dan can be found chilling playing games on his phone and then often tempting Dave away for a Sunday session of Baldur's Gate on the old PS2.

Corrine Atkins: Lead vocals, electric guitar

Ah, the youngest member of the band, the lovely Corrine Atkins started singing since around 12 years old although she didn't really start playing guitar for another couple of years at around 15. Another with a varied music tastes but some of her favourite artists are Ward Thomas, Kacey Musgraves, LeAnn Rimes, Jessie J and Anne Marie. Her favourite song at the moment is most likely Cowboy Take Me Away by The Chicks but today is Friday, who knows what it'll be come tomorrow?!

Away from the band, Corrine is a hands on mother to two gorgeous boys, she loves reading fiction (thrillers, murder mysteries and romance.) You can also find Corrine out playing solo gigs if she's not with the band and when that's all done, a cheeky binge watching session of her favourite current favourite series on the box!

Corrine has also just started horse riding!

Mark Line: Harmonica, mandolin and banjo

Ah, the harmononica, banjo and mandalorian player, Mark Line! He's been playing harmonica since he was 17 before later picking up mandolin and banjo at 33 and 35 respectively. Also known to pick up an acoustic guitar and strum out a few songs, next on his list is violin making him our real superweapon!

His main influences are Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Muddy Waters and Little Walter, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dead South, Ben Howard among many many others, the list is endless! Away from the band, he's a step dad and engaged to his wonderful Maria (who, in part is a little responsible for Mark being in the band!).  Also being an outdoor enthusiast he regularly camps, getting out in the wilderness at least once a year since he was about 6 months old! You'll also find him spending a fair amount of spare time riding his motorcycle around the island and plans to do some larger trips in the future.
