Hey folks!
Its Dan here with a little update of all things that's been going on with us.
Like the title suggests, it's a birthday… Well, two in fact! Yesterday (Wednesday 14th) we celebrated one whole year of the Bones EP being released. It's certainly been a heck of a year since, with Tom, Andy and Mark all becoming established Kindred members and we've had some amazing gigs too.
Today also marks the anniversary of this very website. One whole year of kindredfoundmusic.com. We thank you all for the journey we have been on.
That's not to say it's over mind, there's still loads coming up. Over the last couple of weeks, Dan, Mark and Dave have all been in the studio putting down their parts on the next single we'll be releasing, and with each part, we also get closer to a fully realised album.
There's plenty of gigs to get excited about in the near future too. There's still a couple of acoustic gigs to round out this month, Dan and Dave at spiritual home FuBar this Saturday (17th) and then joined by Mark at The Globe in Cowes on bank holiday Monday for part of Greg Barnes' Acoustic Sessions.
September also sees us play as a full band again, performing not once, but twice. Firstly, back at the Quay Arts for "Music for Mountbatten" organised by David Khan of The Dead Revival. That'll be taking place on the 6th September. Following that, the next weekend is the annual Beer, Music and Poetry Festival at the Waverley Caravan Holiday Park. We'll be performing on the Sunday and are very excited!
Again, a massive thanks to everyone that's been on our journey so far, it's amazing to play our own songs to you all. So, until we next see you (very soon!) stay safe.
Dan.
